IT WAS A FANTASTIC WEEK THIS WEEK. just one of those weeks that you just cant help but dance in the bathroom. yes that happened.
PONDERIZING SCRIPTURE: yupp thats right, only one from now on every week. John 15:13
TUESDAY: FINALLY found an inactive family in all my time here have tried to find and committed them to go to church. what we didn´t know was that the VERY next day, the grandfather died. The Lord really sends his servants at the right time. Shared the importance of testimony with Harumi and she willingly accepted to bear her testimony in her baptism and in church on Sunday to start the year of perfect! So awesome.
WEDNESDAY: Found another super inactive family that I remember visiting my very first day in the mission. Turns out they inactivated... i think thats a word... right after inviting over the elders from the entire zone to watch the superbowl. We made it very clear that was wrong and that wasn´t okay... but they won our confidence and are willing to start listening again.
THURSDAY: I GOT SO SICK. it was disgusting. Being sick in the mission sucks. I was dead for about 4 hours vomiting and who knows what but after a blessing and some rest. I was zombie able to function throughout the day. WHICH WAS WORTH IT planning for Harumi and were also to miraculously find 2 new investigators who really have potential. UNLESS YOURE DYING GET UP AND WORK. (:
FRIDAY: Had breakfast with Leon and Nayeli who openly told us they just wanted to be friends.... and not be baptized... so that hurt. BUT animo went back up as we found a new golden investigator and shared my ponderizing scripture of the week and she just cried and let everything go about her hate and grudge she has against the Lord for taking away her best friends in a car accident but we testified that these trials were for her to experience LOVE and LEARN about her father in heaven that loves her- it was an incredible lesson and a teary prayer on our knees. After the holidays she plans to make her way towards baptism. SPEAKING OF BAPTISM HARUMI GOT BAPTIZED. And like the title, there was so much joy there with everyone and Luz (the little sister that will be baptized later) went into the bathroom with harumi and us getting her ready and just started dancing and shouting ¨IM SO HAPPY I CANT HELP MYSELF. HARUMIS GETTING BAPTIZED HARUMIS GETTING BAPTIZED.¨ D&C 18 was SO true in that moment.even though she had to be baptized 4 times to get her dress under the water. Bishop asked me to bear my testimony before Harumi and it was an incredible experience. Harumi calls me the big sister she never had and I from hearing her testimony at the end of her baptism, I KNOW we will be in contact for eternity. AWESOME day. A day I will never forget.
SATURDAY: new years eve was just full of SO many people calling us and inviting us to come over and spend time with them. And let me tell you. EVERY SINGLE ONE GAVE US PIZZA. Ive never eaten so much pizza in one day. I truly hope I never return to eat so much. But a day full of laughs, memories, and love between the members and investigators. I also dont think I have ever felt more love and laughter in one day. A PERFECT WAY to end 2016.
SUNDAY: Harumi was confirmed and gave a BOMB testimony in front of our investigators and the members. ON top of that, the ward assistence is going up a ton and SO pumped for that. After speaking with the members and my companion and the Lord... I dont know if im jynxing myself but truly feel that I still have work to do here and will be staying here another transfer... well my last transfer. BUT im ready for whatever. Next week is transfers, so I´ll let you know what happens. LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH. In my prayers every moment
