WEEK 69: OH I JUST CANT WAIT TO BE CLEAN

ALRIGHT be prepared ladies and gentlemen to pray for a lot of christmas miracles. We have 10 people who are preparing to be baptized in the next month. Harumi, Luz, Ruben, Hilaria, Angel, Kevin, Daniela, Francisco, Maribel, and Sandy. Add that to your prayer wall. THANKSSS

PONDERIZING SCRIPTURES: Proverbs 15:33, Phillipians 2:1-10, 1 Peter 5:5, Alma 5:27, Alma 32:16, Helaman 3:35, Luke 21:19, Hebrews 10:35-36, Alma 7:23, D&C 67:13, D&C 98:26, D&C 127:4, 2 Kings 19:20, Jonah 2:7-9, Romans 12:12, 1 Corinthians 14:15, Isaiah 57:15, Helaman 3:33-35, D&C 67:10, John 15:13, Ether 12:27

TUESDAY: Had exchanges with Hermana Flores again and had a wonderful day teaching Ruben and Hilaria, Harumi, and our new investigator who fell from the skies (or the north mission), Angel who already has 3 assistences and wants to get baptized and married in the temple. GREAT day full of the spirit.

WEDNESDAY: A bit of a more slow day but were able to teach Sandy who opened up a lot more and desires to return and live eternally with her family and desires to be baptized! Ended the day teaching our blind family about spiritually opening our eyes to the truths of the gospel. Love them.

THURSDAY: Had a very special time with Hermana Maya talking about changes and helping her take this opportunity in the mission to be molded by the Lord and let go of the person we were before the mission. Many tears and testimonies given and many changes to come. Its incredible to reflect in who I was a year and a half ago. I was overwhelmed with pure JOY for all the people who have helped me through their councils more than anyone my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who has given me very direct council and guidance to become the person he has always desired me to become. A relationship without a price. A best friend that will NEVER lie to you or be unfaithful. A brother that will never leave your side.

FRIDAY: Had a mini interview with Harumi and little Luz (love her name) preparing for them to be baptized and Luz gave the sweetest prayer saying ¨Father, its happening! Im getting baptized. Ive finally decided. And im very happy.¨ Such a simple prayer but oh my gosh, brought us to tears. Had a REALLY rough lesson with Francisco who began to believe the member we were with was a prophet and almost started worshiping the guy... we had to backtrack a lot. It is SO important that the members and the missionaries BOTH can teach clearly with unity and the same plan... learned that lesson the hard way.

SATURDAY: Taught Fernanda on the doctrine of Jesus Christ and Maribel on the importance of baptism and Maribel FINALLY accepted baptism for real. And is going to stop saying she is a mormon jehovahs witness. hah. Ended the day visiting a lonely mom, Tomasita, who felt especially alone without her son (being in the mission) and applied ILUMINA EL MUNDO with her and LIT up her day.

SUNDAY: Was asked to speak in church by Bishop on the plan of salvation. Showed a lot of trust in hoping for a very spiritual sacrament meeting. With MUCH prayer I was able to remember one of the examples from my dad on PIZZA how sometimes pizza is like life. At first everyone looked confused but after the example was shown, it developed into an UNDESCRIBABLE spirit. In this life, we get pounded and beaten by all the trials, but our Father in Heaven has the recipe and he knows what we can become. But it requires time, patience, and many different ingredients (or attributes) to become what he has planned for us to be. Even better benefits? Shared to start how my family always eats pizza on Christmas Eve and now all the members have invited us to eat pizza on Christmas Eve with them. BLESSINGS. Ward council was even better than last week preparing for Harumi and Luz´s baptism and for the plan of salvation activity that now everyone wants to have pizza be the refreshment haha LOVE it. Taught Harumi´s famiily on fasting so that they could do a fast as a family preparing that all goes well for the baptism.

Ive planned on ending this letter asking for prayers especially for my companion Hermana Maya, shes having a really rough time for her first christmas here in the mission and Im trying to do everything I can to help her have the BEST christmas ever. If you have suggestions, PLEASE help me out. But prayers are more than appreciated.

LOVE YOU ALL.
