AWESOME week. Just so all is clear now, I have recieved my release date and I will be arriving hom February 21st! Now you all think Im trunky but HECK no. Im running and loving and serving with all I`ve got to the last second!
PONDERIZING SCRIPTURES: Read John, Acts, Romans, 1 Corinthians and that about sums it up. I`ve fallen in love with the way Paul teaches so studying that a lot! TUESDAY: Had some GREAT lessons with a family who gave us a full out dinner for the lesson. BLESSINGS. Had an awesome lesson with Ruben and Hilaria who also are preparing to be baptized on Christmas Eve! Its gonna be litterally a white christmas. Daniela is progressing a TON and quitting smoking and SIGNED UP FOR INSTITUTE AND SHES NOT EVEN A MEMBER. History of the church. She is an inspiration for me. WEDNESDAY: my comp had a rough time this week leading up to her first christmas. to the point she cried at dinner and we had to leave with her just balling missing her family. It was a really good moment for us to connect and me to tell her it is SO normal to feel this way at this time, but thats when we gotta flip it and show that love we have for our families at home to have the family that we have HERE in the mission. So we started just to do service SERVICE service to let this LIGHT the world really light us up. And yes, about half the service we did this week was help put christmas trees up. THURSDAY: Got to play Primary president doing service for the primary helping play piano for the primary program theyll have in a few weeks. Lets just say my companion has no patience for kids. Haha but good practice. Made me think of my Lifetime kids. MISS YOU GUYS. Had an incredible lesson with Daniela and Ita (the inactive member who now is SUPER active) who gave an INCREDIBLE testimony and Daniela and her are now best friends who study the same thing in college. AWESOME FRIDAY: OKay.... the freaky stuff. DO NOT FREAK OUT okay? While we were contacting, my companion noticed that a car was following us taking pictures. We ran to the nearest member and he ran out to interrogate the man what happened, taking pictures of the car and calling the police. The guy left before we could get anything else BUT we got to contact the cops with LIGHT the world. SO that was awesome haha got the head detectives phone number for whatever emergency and police cars are patrolling our area 24/7 now. EXCITING memory for the books to tell to grandkids kind of stuff haha In lunch with the members, a YSA member who never talks to us finally sat down with us and shared with us how shes worried her boyfriend will never ask her to marry her. We told her itll happen soon... and that night? he proposed. SOOO you could say were best friends now and wants to help us out with whatever we need help with now. #SOCIALMEDIAMISSIONARY SATURDAY: RUBEN AND HILARIA are getting married! and getting baptized... but theyll be getting married Christmas Eve Eve so that should be an unforgettable weekend. Hyrumi also is getting ready to be baptized so we had to pull out the big guns of the Word of Wisdom and law of chastity for the whole family but the REACTION was the coolest thing in the world. After explaining how we dont drink coffee, Hyrumis almost mom (after the parents get married) sprang up, ran to the kitchen, sniffed the coffee one last time, and dumped it down the drain. Everyone was screaming and cheering and moaning but rejoicing. Kinda like the Super Bowl. SUPER awesome memory. But now Hyrumi and her little sister Luz are getting baptized Christmas Eve! SUNDAY: Gave my testimony in church on how important LOVE is in this christmas season and ESPECIALLY between us members in the ward. Shared the story of Peter and JEsus ¨Peter, do you love me?¨ But I flipped it with HErmana Creer, do you really love universidad?¨ Such and such member, do you really love such and such member?¨ I cried like a baby. BUT it was super awesome and the testimonies were killer by all. The members are hugging, loving, and SUPER animated for everything in this christmas season. Got to watch the Christmas devotional and it was AMAZING. Last year it was a little rough but this year? SO edifying and elevating to help and teach those around us. Almost cried hearing the last prayer how it was given a blessing for all the angels or so called missionaries in all the world can share this message with the world. PEACE ON EARTH GOOD WILL TO MEN.
