WEEK 64: I'VE GOT THE POWER

aiight sooo this week was a rough one BUT ended the week with a full surged awesome power thats name is THE BOOK OF MORMON.

And that appropriately was my reaction this morning in my personal study.

PONDERIZING SCRIPTURES: Matt 21:5-11,16,19-32,34-44, 22:2-14,16-22,36-46, 23:8-12,17,19,26,33,37-39, 24:25,32-47, 25:1-13,14-40, Alma 36:3

MONDAY: Sent Jacob off to the mission literally reliving my last night before the mission watching the video Called to Serve. It was a teary night but VERY excited for him in the mission.

TUESDAY: Focused a lot this week on the Book of Mormon, studying preach my gospel and testifying a TON of how we only can find through truth and a testimony through this book. Did exactly that with all our lessons in this day and helped a inactive family accept to pray as a family and have family night and a new investigator accepted to be baptized December 10th! Pray for him!

WEDNESDAY: Yes. I recieved the news. Donald Trump president.... and it is all that anyone is complaining and talking about here. Better I just say Im from Chihuahua then from the USA.Had an amazing lesson with Fernanda, an inactive convert on the Restoration and this sweet little girl almost cried saying ¨So... this book was written specifically for me?¨ Yes. Every single word. Treasure it. Also had an incredible lesson on the plan of salvation with a new investigator whos husband died 10 months ago and when we simply told her it was possible she could be with her husband eternally in a perfect state, she dropped everything and asked ¨so what is necessary?¨ Thought a lot about Acts 2 in that moment where the people after hearing the simple truths and testimonies of the apostles asked ¨So what do we do?¨ FAITH REPENTANCE BAPTISM HOLY GHOST ENDURE TO THE END BOOM. Eternal happiness.. simple. Also read when mary magdalene and jesus christ saw each other for the first time after his death. The joy she felt... just imagine. It brought our investigator Rosario to tears and wants that joy more than anything.

THURSDAY: Exchanges with Hermana Flores. SUPER awesome lesson with a young couple who live with the boyfriends little brother who want to be baptized but cant get married until the girlfriend turns 18. But the video we were going to watch with them to keep them going waiting one more year till they can be baptized didnt work in the dvd player so we totally improvised by the spirit. I ended up singing I know that my redeemer lives. And it was one of those moments where you could literally touch the spirit and everyone was in tears. The little brother who at first was not interested at all asked after the song ¨so... what can I do to feel THAT all the time?¨ he accepted to be baptized. AGHHH so cool. Dylan.. pray for him

FRIDAY: Taught a man who struggles with alcoholism and talks english and kept pushing and whining wondering how its possible I never drank if Im from Sin City. Strong testimony of the difference between temporal happiness and eternal happiness. By the end of the lesson, he stayed quiet and said ¨I want to go to your church¨ We just grinned. Hoping he progresses. Also found Adrianna in the street from Huejo who made the brave decision to move out of her house to be able to go to church and institute. PRAY for her. One day her family will be united in this gospel.

SATURDAY: The YSA had an activity playing volleyball and soccer and basketball so we brought our new golden investigator Danny and Samai to get to know institute and know all the members of institute and their leaders LOVE us for including them in the work and are working with us now on our plan of salvation activity we have planned for december! FOUND A NEW HOUSE living with the family of our mission leader ! Happy were going to be working very closely with the leaders of our ward now. Ha literally.

SUNDAY: Had a special conference from Russell M. Nelson broadcasted to all of Mexico where he literally spoke completely spanish. Definitely gringo spanish but it was awesome to hear him using the language. He simply stated this to start. ¨Mi consejo para ustedes hoy es simple... GUARDEN LOS MANDAMIENTOS¨¨ my council for you today is simple KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS. Pointing his finger and everything. Because what happens if we die tomorrow? WE CANT TAKE ANY RISKS. If you know something is right to do, DO IT because youll regret it if you dont. Ive learned that a lot from the spirit with that as well. Whatever the spirit says to do, DO IT. Maybe it seems dumb but its ALWAYS necessary. Recieved the impression to start the book of mormon again in the morning and it is SO good I did because we had a terrible day of rejection, dropped investigators, and lying referrals. But when we showed up at home, opened my book of mormon and BOOM this scripture changed my attitude.

Now behold ye know that this is true; and ye also know that an angel hath spoken unto you; wherefore can yedoubt? Let us go up; the Lord is able to deliver us, even as our fathers, and to destroy Laban, even as the Egyptians.

I know its true. This is the gospel. I shouldnt doubt in any moment of this work: The Lord will deliver us and we will conquer our enemies and fears and the BLESSINGS ALWAYS COME.
