This was a FANTASTIC week. Mostly for General Conference but also for many other miracles.
PONDERIZING SCRIPTURES: D&C 6:9-10,22-23,25,32-34, Jeremiah 42:4-6, Jacob 1:19, 2 Nephi 9:40, 2 Peter 1:13-15, Jermiah 49:16, D&C 75:18-22, Alma 29:8, Jacob 10:1,9, John 9:41, John 15:22, D&C 78:17-22
TUESDAY: Had an incredible lesson with a new investigator who was super hard at first but as soon as we just listened, the reason she is so hard is because doesnt feel that God loves her. So we testified of how much God really loves her. and BOOM tears. She accepted to be baptized and do everything she can to continue feeling his love and JOY. (perfect for general conference). Also had a crazy phone call from an inactive family who felt they need to visit with the missionaries and sure enough, the daughter and I just clicked. She felt that nooned understood her, a TOTAL rebel of the church and that there was no hope for her, because the church was full of hypocrites. It was so important for us not to judge and just to love and teach her WITH love and help her understand that its not the PEOPLE of the church that are perfect. ITS THE DOCTRINE. And with that, we unlocked and helped her remember her testimony by singing a hymn together and her and I recorded Come thou fount of every blessing. Shes actually famous now... and almost won The Voice Mexico... so thats cool.
WEDNESDAY: District Meeting where us Americans introduced smores to MExico and it was a hit. Taught Samai and Angeles and set their baptismal interviews with them! STOKED
THURSDAY: Contacted references and found an old investigator asking for Hermana Knudsen! He gladly accepted us in and is very excited to keep working. Names Ivan, his mom just died. Pray for him. Burger King. EXCHANGES with Hermana Solorio and had a great family night with a part active family and FINALLY the son accepted to go to general conference!
FRIDAY: Contacted in the street and found 15 people to teach. (Five that lived in our area) Miracle of finding a family of 10 for the Elders in another area through just talking to a 10 year old girl with a bag of trash in the middle of the street. Amazing miracle. Angeles had her interview and passed but just doesnt feel ready for baptism and its an unecessary step. Praying she will accept when the 15th comes. Pray for her. Were still reading the Book of Mormon with her every day and now adding on a general conference talk. Hoping for a miracle.
SATURDAY/SUNDAY: CONFERENCE (super fun watching with all us white missionaries with cake and party watching on a cell phone and computer screen. #mexico

If it wasnt for them, I truly would not be here experiencing this mission and finding and remembering my own testimony and helping others. Mom, Dad, I love you and thank you for EVERYTHING you have done and put up with me. And just so you know, I get it now. I will teach my future family the same way you taught me. Never give up, parents. Because my parents never did. Never wanted to lose me.
Dale G. Renlund: Real repentance, REAL JOY
The majority of what I got from the conference was find JOY and LOVE in EVERY principle of the gospel because it is literally PERFECT. What a blessing it is to be a missionary and help others to find this simplicity and overflowing JOY that is possible if we UNDERSTAND it and APPLY it ALL in our lives. Hope all can have the opportunity to listen, reflect, and put into practice this general conference. It was the PERFECT final conference for me in the mission and to prepare myself for the life after this mission that honestly terrifies me... but I know that if I trust in the Lord, everything will turn out all right (:
LOVE YOU ALL
