As humble as the title is, seriously I am speechless by the success that we are having right now in Huejo. This week we confirmed 12 baptisms to happen in this next transfer. IT IS AMAZING

PONDERIZING SCRIPTURES: Luke 16:19-31, John 18:37, Mosiah 4:2, Ether 12:34, Matthew 18:15-20, Luke 17:1-10,11-19, Luke 18:9-14, 1 Corinthians 11:11, Hebrews 13:4, Psalms 86:1-7,11,15-17, Psalms 89:8-9,47, Psalms 90:2,4,12-17, 2 Nephi 2:2,11-14, Matthew 19:27-30, Matt 20:1-16, Ephesians 2:19, Romans 15:1, John 14:18, John 10:22-39, Acts 16:14-16, John 11, D&C 88:118, Matthew 7:12, John 1:39, 3 Nephi 12:29

MONDAY: Okay, remember Karen? Crazy partying 15 year old? Had a lesson with her and shared pictures from my past and testified of the change that can happen in every person through the gospel. She looked down began to cry and begged ¨How can I do the same?¨ Testified of prayer, church, and setting goals and she immediately 100% accepted to change and be baptized on the 27th of August. We had a good cry together. I have developed SO much love for her and have SO much faith that this girl can change.

TUESDAY: So apparently an earthquake happened... but we didnt feel anything. Once again, a natural disaster happens and I DONT WITNESS ANYTHING. But hey, at least were safe. Went with all of our lessons to directly make sure they were wanting to not only be baptized but be converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. And thanks to miracles, every single on of them are.

WEDNESDAY: one of THE BEST district meetings ever. Brought up the idea to bring back the tradition of band camp and do KUMBAYA and be able to say good attributes about every missionary in the district to have more unity and WOW the spirit was incredible. Hugs, love, and tears all around. Love the missionaries here. Theyre my family. Ate with cookie mom (as we call her) and painted her hair in desire to have my hair. Fun fun. Had a great lesson with Karen and ended the day with an INCREDIBLE lesson with our golden family of Antonio, Edison, Dulce, and Yahir who are all willing to be baptized the 27th and be married on the 20th. And Rene taught the kids how to pray. I cried. It was amazing.

THURSDAY: Not sure what luck we have with Thursdays, but all our appointments fell and I got sunburnt SO bad walking around trying to find references. BUT met with our mission leader and they trust in us to plan the entire next missionary activity. And were doing an indexing/family history auction activity just like in BYU YSA ward to use family history names and indexing names used as ¨money¨ or ¨points¨ to bid for desserts, service, or prizes. Super fun and everyone is SO stoked to participate.

FRIDAY: Had lunch with a couple who love music... felt like I was in the HFAC at BYU again as they played Chopin the entire time. Miss my trumpet. Had a super spiritual lesson with Karen again who with tears in her eyes after understanding where she would go if she got baptized, she said ¨so if I get baptized and repent when I make mistakes, God wont remember the bad things Ive done?¨ She is so sweet and understanding the simplicity of the gospel and I just LOVE it. Watched Finding Faith in Jesus Christ with Alvaro, Pablo, and Minerva AND Pablo invited his friend to watch and his friend, Aldo accepted to be baptized as well. I SWEAR, THESE PEOPLE ARE JUST FALLING FROM HEAVEN PREPARED FOR THE GOSPEL. Ended the day with a miracle. Our dear members, Luis and Yuri, came with us to a lesson where Rene revealed to us that his son was robbed and now cant support him with food or money and literally has nothing. Luis and Yuri IMMEDIATELY got in the car, went to the grocery store and bought a whole grocery cart of food. The members are loving Rene just as much as we do. THIS is missionary work. Rene was brought to tears and smiled so happy and ready to become a member of the true church. GREAT memory.

SATURDAY: Okay, scary time. Recieved sad news that Karen apparently ran away from home and hasnt returned in more than a day. So we went to the usual spots looking for our lost little lamb and couldnt find her anywhere, but kept on smiling faces and our faith while going to a baptism with the elders and sisters with Rene so that Rene could see what was gonna happen, said a STRONG prayer begging that Karen would return and come to church on Sunday so that we know shes okay.... (miracle below)

SUNDAY: With a lot of anxiety to see if all of our investigators would show up, our trust and faith was tested a lot, to the point that we went speeding with a member to pick all of them up... when it reality they showed up to church earlier than us. Nice slap in the face for me that I need to trust more in my investigators and in the Lord that if it is there desire to come to the church, THEY´LL do it. I shouldnt be pulling anybody by the ear to come to church. In ward council, the leaders made some actually insulting remarks about the elders saying were the ones that will actually achieve success in their ward and I couldnt help but roll my eyes. They really believe success is in numbers. It ABSOLUTELY is not. The elders are working SO hard, probably harder than us. It´s just the time of the Lord in our area for many people. And I take absolutely NOTHING of glory for the things that are happening in our area. All to the Lord. Hoping in this next transfer, we can help our ward understand that the MISSIONARIES not just the sisters, are working hard and are successful at what we do, through obedience, faith, and love of the work

Also, had to say goodbye to my dear best friend and ex companion, Hermana Lopez. I love her so much and consider her sincerely as my sister. We will be friends for eternity and I will remember SO MUCH of what she taught me in our time together.

LOVE YOU ALL thank you for your support. I truly am sorry if I havent replied to individual emails. THis transfer will be us RUNNING a lot. Super busy but super in love with the mission. (:

BELOW: my brothers. You cant destroy the unity that our ward has. Elder Gonzalez, Elder Dietz, me, Hermana Espinal. Missionaries for life and bringing success to Huejo always.
