MONDAY: OKAY remember when I said check back on whether studying the hymns scriptures would help me? IT HAPPENED IMMEDIATELY. Went to teach a future missionary, Sandy, in our ward, and she revealed to us that her papers couldn`t be submitted because she doesn`t have sufficient red blood cells and we felt prompted to sing the song ¨Where can I turn for peace?¨ And the scripture that went with it. ¨Peace I leave with you.¨ Sandy couldnt even finish the first line without balling. A moment I will never forget in the mission. She knew that there was a reason her papers are being delayed. Praying all works out for her.

TUESDAY: A day full of ignoring and rejection... especially by the mother in law (suegra) of our investigator. Everytime she is at the house of our investigator... we can`t teach her. She threatens many MANY bad things to our investigator Jaquelyn if she catches us with her. Soo... were teaching very VERY carefully. Members in our ward even can`t help with the situation because the suegra says awful things to them as well. Praying that this woman will soften her heart. Met with Michelle and she just testified to us that she is SO ready to be baptized. AND HER INTERVIEW IS SATURDAY. Soooo excited for her. She just gleams with the light of Christ. Ended the day finding a completely inactive member whos daughter wants to get baptized. EVEN MORE MIRACLES.

WEDNESDAY: Practiced teaching prayer as a district and once again practiced with Elder Dietz and Hermana Maya. I swear one day she will be my companion. Went to eat and visit with Hermana Veronica who is preparing to be sealed in the temple with her husband for the fifth time. She is worried that they won`t be ready... but thanks to Dad`s scripture that he always uses with mom. LIGHT CLEAVETH UNTO LIGHT. we changed our plans of what to share with her and shared this scripture and the spirit just FILLED the room... with tears. Great spiritual moment as well. Visited less actives and the best way to get them active? WEll I say asking them for help in missionary work. AND IT WORKED: THe father was bouncing wanting to help out after we watched a video of missionaries opening up their mission calls. Their whole family wants to serve missions now. HALELLUJAH. I really dont think I spelled that right. Visited our crazy new family of Maria Demetria and the daughter Myte just blurted out that she wants to be a missionary like us... we told her she would have to learn about our church first and be baptized. AND SHE ACCEPTED.... it was almost too easy. SIncerely the Lord is putting these people in our lives because we are being EXACTLY obedient. So grateful for all that my lovely lovely companion Hermana Lopez is teaching me.

THURSDAY: Planning session was great full of plans of how to get more references more easily.... and yes it works AMAZING. We have turned 9 questions of commonly asked questions from taking out references and have made into a ¨game show¨ sort of activity. We literally use the ringtone sound from our phone as background music and the members get SO into it... lets just say in this week, we got over 50 references. Be creative and results come. Found Midori and she accepted to be baptized on the 11th! Fast, but she wants it. Ended the day receiving a GORGEOUS blue dress from Hermana Juana handmade for free. And my beautiful companion gave me this gorgeous skirt handmade as well... so let`s just say there are blessings physically and spiritually that are just OVERFLOWING life right now.

FRIDAY: Had an interesting morning having a zone companionship study with the hermanas from Nealtican and our zone leaders. Our zone leaders played a CRAZY prank on us acting that we gossiped about them flirting... at the moment we all thought we were dead, they burst out laughing saying it was a joke. Missionaries can still definitely have fun. Contacted all over in Zacapechpan and MIRACULOUSLY found the house of the mysterious family who gave us a ride from walking in the pouring rain. MIRACLE. Then got a free ride from the MacShack member of the church along with her boyfriend (love her to death) and broke the ice really fast asking when they were getting married. Had a good laugh. FINALLY also found good old Nancy who revealed to us that she is still reading the BOok of Mormon and wants to come back to church and be baptized. MIRACLESSSS.

SATURDAY: Taught Antonia on the 10 commandments and without hesitation she agreed to throwout all of her Guadalupe Maria images and misa. SHE IS PROGRESSING AS WELL. So amazing. TAught Felipe and Antonia how to love one another and support one another. Contacted a reference who just wanted to talk in English with me... and I felt SO uncomfortable... I CAN NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. IT is so strange. Tried to visit Jaquelyn... but the suegra was there... sincerely feel that this girl will never progress unless she makes her own decisions and faces her mother in law and JUST DOES IT. Praying praying and fasting that she can make it to church so that her baptismal date doesnt fall. MICHELLE PASSED HER INTERVIEW with flying colors and even on the way to the interview, our mission president drove by and screamed out the window ADELANTE. Animoooooo.

SUNDAY: Church was incredible. I started the day a little on the down side just feeling horrible and sad for the little things that I didn`t do or couldn`t do for the people that we are teaching. Bore my testimony crying for forgiveness and testifying of the love that we as missionaries have for every person in this area. And just like that, like a lightning strike in a summer storm, more miracles came. Jaquelyn came to church. Alone. With all of her kids. Dressed in the dress I gave to her as a gift and with all her kids smiling and SO happy to be in church. Then all the members gave INCREDIBLE SPIRITUALLY testimonies grateful for the love they have felt from the Lord through missionary work. Francisca, Angel, Felix Limon, Felix Luna, all in tears in gratitude for this gospel. Lets just say I cried a lot during that meeting just SO happy for this incredible opportunity and priviledge it is to be with these precious children of God. Learned a lot from my companion in this day as well about how we NEED to be exactly obedient and diligent in this work to see the miracles. AND WE GOT UP AND LEFT STUDY AND THERE WERE IMMEDIATE MIRACLES. Sara, mother of a recent convert in our ward, mysteriously showed up to church and wants to get baptized ASAP. Also, an old investigator just showed up on his own, only 9 years old, and also told us he wants to get baptized. I sincerely don`t understand how these things happen, but I know that God knows. And I am just so grateful I am here seeing the fruits of our labors actually revealing before our eyes. THE GOSPEL IS TRUE. I LOVE YOU.
