HOLAAAA GUAPOSSSS

So sad news... I forgot my scriptures again in my apartment... so next week you`ll get DOUBLE ponderizing scriptures.

TUESDAY: Found Belen and Sandra. Two news for us who are GOLDEN for us. Then in lunch, the father`s button popped off from eating too much. That was a good laugh. Talked with the bishopric of the ward to figure out how we can help the youth in our ward and BIG changes are coming. Then our lesson with Araceli was incredible as she is already changing and understanding so much. She already understands the importance of going to church, just needs to figure out a way she can shut her store down. Pray for her!

WEDNESDAY: District meeting was different as we did a little easter egg hunt of our own, because if I haven`t said it, Mexico does not celebrate Easter like we do. Only Catholics really celebrate it. Differently as well. But still sharing #aleluya with everyone we can find. Even contacted the Spiderman door and were welcomed in with cookies and juice. Miracle. Then ended the day almost dying from a rabid dog but luckily we had Perry (Balto... we changed his name because we always say ¨Where`s Perry?¨ now) with us but made it safely to our noche de hogar with a family that lives in the middle of nowhere.

THURSDAY: Went to Huejo with Ingrid and her family where they bought us Mexican sweatshirts and then met up with the zone leaders to get a new phone... NO its not an iPhone. Still our little Nokia phone. Met up with a less active who we consider active but she actually considers herself lessactive and wants to be better and help us. SO we got a ton of background on all of our investigators and manyyyy references ... or referrals. I really dont remember what referencias means in english.

FRIDAY: Planning session and then lunch of fish... which father, I know you´ll be pleased to hear, that I actually like fish now. Then went and found Irma finally, the inactive whos dog´s grave I stepped on. I said a prayer for her family and her dog and she actually really opened up with us afterwards... she thinks her dog is her son... BUT happy that she has more trust with us now.

SATURDAY: EVERYONE went nuts today. Its the Catholics day to party here celebrating that Christ resurrected. Meat, music, and yes, trucks driving around picking out random poor citizens to dunk with water quickly driving by. And ofcourse, they hit the guerras. Yes I got a bath from the Catholics. At first we did not know it was a tradition, but our bishop saw the whole thing and laughingly told us that it´s normal. Pedro bought us ice cream to make us feel better. Found 5 new investigators which sincerely was a miracle and hoping for much success with them! Perry got almost killed by another dog and now has a horrible limp. Grateful for him because we could be dead if it wasn`t for him. Also had the beautiful opportunity to watch the General Women`s session in Spanish. Fantastic messages all based on how important it is to have meaningful service to those around us. Here`s the link for those who haven`t seen it. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ALL TO WATCH.

SUNDAY: HAPPY EASTER MORNING. Such a beautiful opportunity to be here in the mission and recognize the importance of the symbolism of this day. HE IS RISEN. HOW WONDERFUL IS THAT MESSAGE. And as much as I love the new Easter video. Nothing will ever beat the original Because of Him video. We watched that video maybe 50 times this week showing it to others. PLEASSSEEE if anything, watch this video. It just makes you happy no matter what. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_S3TI4bYerU--

Brandy, our less active teenager came to church today. And we got a brand new young womens president, MELISSA, OUR FAVORITE NEWLY WED. She`s PERFECT for the youth. Bishop has such power and authority to know exactly what the members need. Had al pastor again with Brenda and contacted some more ended a great week with 8 NEWS. This ward fast has brought miracles in less than a week. Fast works. Try it.

I just want to end this email to bring my personal prayer and hope for the missionaries and families who were injured in the bombing in France. I am just so horrified by how awful and terrible their families feel, and I am sincerely praying for them and hoping that all is alright as well as all others who were injured in the accident. To see them still having strong testimonies and knowing that God still loves all of us is something I believe all of us can learn from. Truly am proud to be here in the mission sharing the same message on a different ground. Embrace God`s love. Because it`s always there.

(sorry wasn`t able to take any photos this week... but here`s a selfie)
