PONDERIZING SCRIPTURES: 2 Nephi 4, Rev. 21:4, 2 Corinthians 5:17-19, Phil. 3:13-14, and like 200 pages of the Book of Mormon... hehe yeah I love it.

MONDAY: Had TWO family nights in the same night. Spoons has become a hit here, EVERYONE wants to play it. But after our second family night, witnessed a motorcycle accident of drunk who just crashed and ran and left the girl behind that was riding with him on the floor in pain. SO terrible but after the entire street came out to help, all things are good with her now. Praying for her.

TUESDAY: Cleaned our new apartment because tomorrow is moving day! Ate with the stake president who asked if I could teach piano to their kids as well as play in the choir... because noone can play here. Unfortunately I can`t. Takes up too much time in the crazy schedule of a missionary! Met with Marsaleno again who sincerely needs friends because he is so alone. This is where the members come into play. Received the name of Katniss after shooting down a Coke bottle on the other side of a field during a family night practicing ¨shooting down Satan¨ yeah were creative. Then met with Araceli who is a GOLDEN investigator and is just accepting and reading and applying everything we teach! AWESOME

WEDNESDAY: District meeting, a new missionary who´s leaving next week came to see what the mission life is like and was put in a practice with me... crazy how he asked me for advice. I still feel like the newbee here. Then our ZL´s who are the only other americans here in Nealtican and two other elders in our zone came to help us move to our Catholic penthouse.. I`ll send a picture of us infront of our mural we get to see everyday. BUT we`re all moved in and the view we have is GORGEOUS. Pictures below. Had a noche de hogar with Cassandra and their family speaking on 1 Nephi 3 and ate cemitas which are SUPER good. Try them. Then had our Q&A session with the youth in their mutual activity where I`m going to get really honest. YOUTH: STOP TALKING DURING ACTIVITIES AND PUT YOUR PHONES AWAY. Yes I`m guilty of this too in my youth but now I`m able to realize how big of a problem it is. Y´all think its not but man... its bad guys. BUT after whistling attention to everyone when it got too out of hand, Elder Gutierrez, Callatano, and us were able to testify reciting D&C 4 and the mission statement to them and all the youth rose their hands desiring to serve missions. Awesome moment (:

THURSDAY: WE GOT OUR ENGLISH CLASS CARDS TODAY. And that is literally all we did. Placing and giving out these cards to get as many people as we could in the church next Tuesday for english classes. If anyone wants a cool designed thing and happen to be in Nealitcan, call up Hermano Pedro. HES THE BEST. Ward council we discussed the issue with the youth in their cellphones and Facebook. Mormon messages are the best way to speak to them SO we are now visiting all the youth showing them the video ¨Things as they really are¨ which should help out a lot. AND we`re having a ward FAST on the 19th! STOKED. They bought us pizza and coke afterwards. Bishopric is the BEST.

FRIDAY: Being five days of pouring rain now, Popo the volcano is COVERED in snow. It`s beautiful. Had zone conference today with President and WOW. That man is a man called of God. Gave a powerful message on repentance in which I have put down my ponderizing scriptures for this week of the scriptures from his lecture. Repentance is a baptism of fire that we all at some point have to go through. And we have to do ALL the steps to fully receive this baptism. Also spoke on working with our companions... too bad I hate mine... JOKE. She`s the best. Love her to death. But received great guidance and help with some struggles in our area and sincerely was pure revelation. Love that man so much. He has sincerely become a father to me and this place has become my home and my family. PS. WE GOT PICTURES WITH DALLIN H OAKS. Theyre printed out all beautiful so I just took a picture of the picture to share with you all.

SATURDAY: Noone was home today... trust me we checked by a member and me scaling a wall to see if one of our investigators was home... I`ve become that missionary. BUT it`s okay because the members are always there to help out. Help out spiritually and with giving us food. Every single one of them. But we just keep strengthening the members through mormon messages and the scriptures. EVERY MEMBER A MISSIONARY. So if the actual missionaries aren`t having success, we get help from the 230 other missionaries we have in this area (:

SUNDAY: Bore testimony on repentance to the ward which sparked a whole spiritual powerful line of testimonies and THANK GOODNESS it happened because we had 8 less actives in the meeting who are NEVER at church. And miracle, Nancy, the wife of a less active in our ward now WANTS TO GET BAPTIZED. We have a lesson with her tomorrow hoping she can be baptized by the 19th! Had dinner with Cassandra and because she loves me, SHE MADE ME CHEESECAKE... oh my gosh I have never missed a dessert so much. And yes I ate three pieces. But Mom it`s okay, I weighed myself today too and I`m still 140. Who knows how. There´s no way 30 minute workout can take off all the food we eat here. BUT HOORAY FOR MIRACLES THAT IM NOT GAINING lol. At first the weight said I was 170... because secretly Hermana Gonzales was standing on it from behind... THAT was a good one. First time someone answered the door with a gun. Got a good jump from that BUT turns out he now is one of our news. I literally said ¨Seriously, if you don`t want to hear from us, we`ll leave just say it.¨ He got a good laugh and exclaimed he was shooting rats in his backyard. And yes he let us shoot. (: We have a meeting with him today where we get to help out with his piglets and clean out the rats and teach the Restoration. BOMB. Ended the day awkwardly walking in on a session of our landlord and her family worshipping Maria... clash of the religiones.
