'THE MISSION IS THE BEST. holy wow. I love it.PONDERIZING SCRIPTURES: 2 Nephi 15:20, 26-30, 2 Nephi 16:8-10, 2 Nephi 17: 9,13, 2 Nephi 18: 16-18, 2 Nephi 19: 6,21, 2 Nephi 21:2-6, 2 Nephi 22, 2 NEphi 30:17,.... and a lot more. Literally my notecard of pondering scriptures is just full by the end of the week. Truly I have grown to FEAST upon the scriptures. Love em.

TUESDAY: So apparently the transfer before me in this area was rough for Hermana Gonzales and her other companion, so we just decided to start fresh and WHITEWASH the area and contact EVERYONE. And it`s awesome and helping us grow super fast. There are tons of members here who are the best. I`ve bonded a lot with the teenage girls here. Ingrid, Abish, and Nazbeet are already like my best friends. I`ll get a picture with them another week. We found 4 new investigators in our first day which NEVER happens here. Miracles already happening. But we still contacted and looked for certain old investigators and NEVER found them. So when we finally sat down to eat and the song by U2 ¨But I still haven`t found what I`m looking for¨ It was a good laugh for us. Went to a noche de hogar ( I don't remember what thats called in English) with a family to eat al pastor tacos (THE BEST) and give a blessing to their super sick daughter. There was a power outage which was terrifying and Hermana Gonzales and I both screamed FETCH which had a good laugh too. I swear were twins.

WEDNESDAY: Had district meeting which was a change because Nealtican is SO much smaller than Atlixco zone wise. But some elders have literally trained dogs to follow them everywhere as there some-what ¨pets¨ so Hermana Gonzales and i are going to try and do the same. Then we contacted and contacted and contacted and had no luck but tried asking a family of members for directions to a house but they just told us how we need to be way more careful because the street that we live on MANY houses are getting robbed. We left the house and Hermana Gonzales just moaned and yelled ¨I HATE MEXICANS.¨ I laughed SO hard. It was a total joke and sarcastic but truly was a moment I`ll always remember. Then we found this house in the middle of nowhere that belonged to two of the strangest lost boys ever but they`re HILARIOUS and totally excepted us to teach them with their mom. Saying their mom has been dying for us to come by and visit. MIRACLE. Then some members invited us over to eat hot cakes (pancakes) more like crepes and give us money to go to a fancy pizza restaurant tomorrow. THE BEST.

THURSDAY: So a baby in our ward died this morning and we were notified with enough time to go buy flowers... us americans felt the need to buy something bright and happy... little did we know that its customary to buy white flowers.... SO MANY WHITE FLOWERS. And we were the only ones with yellow flowers. BUT they loved them. Had lunch at Pizza Moy and Hermana Gonzales and I just clicked and bonded SO much. We have so much in common. She´s the best. We contacted some more and Hermana Gonzales saw a sick bike and said ¨BIEN SWAG¨Our life. Spanglish talking. So now we have a member making us snapbacks with Bien Swag on it. Pictures next week. Went to the funeral dinner for the baby. And EVERYONE asked us about April Fools Day. We shared our experiences. Many laughs for Emily Batten`s prank from last year (shoutout to you Em)

FRIDAY: We contacted for 6 hours today... BUT GOT A TON OF REFERENCES and got to know a LOT of people. But we felt like dying because like Vegas... it is SO bipolar here. It is SUPER hot during the day and FREEZING at night. It snows sometimes when it rains. Praying it happens while I`m here. But while we were scorched after contacting so much, we sat down on the curb for a break where we received the best entertainment of a pig being pulled down the street to be sold to eat. That pig did NOT want to leave. It pooped and peed and screamed at its owner for 10 minutes straight. Let`s just say that Hermana Gonzales and I were dying on the side of the street laughing to death.

SATURDAY: Hermana Gonzales LOVES animals. And she will touch and grab anything. Including a dying bird in the street that we found while contacting. Went to go visit the dad of the baby that died where he miraculously changed and said he wants to return to church. MIRACLE. Had a great lesson with an investigator named Jessica and all 10 of her kids who LOVE americans and go nuts when they see us. But I challenged all of them to start a blessings list like I have and let me tell you, ITS BECOME A TREND. They all committed to doing it and said they'll show me tomorrow in church! Then went with a recent convert 17 year old Carlos who is preparing for a mission to a lesson and HES AWESOME. He`s already a missionary. But afterwards it was FREEZING and with luck, we found a members family having a huge bonfire outside of their house (very close to their house) from burning their old couches. THEY ARE SO FUN. Took a picture... but its on a member`s phone. I`ll find it!

SUNDAY: Church bright and early. Bore my testimony to the ward and after I went ALL of the teenage girls in the ward got up starting with Ingrid (my first friend in the ward (: ) and she told how my testimony is something she´ll never forget. She`s preparing for a mission too. LOVE HER. Then in Principios del Evangelio we taught our investigators about covenants. HOLY COW if I wasn`t studying the Bible for personal study THAT day, I wouldn`t have been prepared to teach that. BUT the Lord will always guide us in what we need to know. Then we found a GOLDEN door here that has TONS of family members who are all willing to listen beginning with the great grandparents... but the man has 45 years studying the Book of Mormon and the church and knows a lot and has a lot of questions. So what do we do now? STUDY MORE. So after another lesson where we were blessed with watermelon, we quickly ran home and planned for P-Day and for 2 hours, Hermana Gonzales and I studied the whole book of Revelations in the bible to understand more about the second coming. This area has a lot of potencial and I know that Hermana Gonzales and I are together for a reason to bring a bunch of energy to this area. Because we`re both VERY loud, outgoing, and high energy. It`s a party everyday and I LOVE it here. It`s an adventure everyday and the Lord is the creator.

Keep walking. Keep moving. Keep singing. Keep preaching. Monkey see monkey do, come what may, AND LOVE IT. Monkey see monkey do has become my theme when it gets rough. And Spider Man has become my hero. Swing like a monkey and spiderman. FLY. Does it matter if we don`t have success in the way that we want? No. Because were here in the Lord`s work. And that`s enough to make me feel like I`m flying. Sorry if that made no sense. I am just SO happy here. Bouncing of the walls flying, leaping, jumping, STOKED to be out here. Love you all. Keep me in the loop how things are going in the real world! --

Monkey see, monkey do,

Hermana Abigail Creer
