MONDAY: Had one of the most spiritual family nights with the Bautista family. Bishop blessed the father and with tears in all of our eyes, an immediate change happened right there in the family. INCREDIBLE. Thank you all for your prayers for him. AND to make CHristmas a little more special this year, went to buy presents for Sugel´s family. Stay tuned...

TUESDAY: Went with Bishop to say goodbye to Hermana Sugel and Jonathan and their family with a giant bag full of gifts. LIttle did they know that was inside, we just continued sharing scriptures and chatting. When I opened the bag,Jonathan broke down in tears. Bishop just held him. He later composed himself and told us they had nothing planned for Christmas and he had prayed THAT morning for strength and help to make this Christmas special. Him and Sugel then bore powerful testimonies. Theyre going to the temple end of March. MIRACLES. And also received two packages from Mom that I loved but ended up giving the Frozen necklace you sent me to little Adelyn of a family of one of our investigators, SHE GLEAMED. Felt a lot of love, hugs, and tugs from their kids after that one.

WEDNESDAY: Went to Izucar for a special Christmas activity with the zones to celebrate Christmas with President Stellmon. Christmas trivia, tortilla attack (involved throwing tortillas as frizbees at cardboard snowman... yes the things we do in Mexico), and R2D2 bopit. AND YES our district one every singlegame (: Got another package and every missionary got new bed coverings and pillows sooo thank you to every person who has paid fast offerings to help pay for that (: AND MIRACLE, as we were waiting for the bus to take us home to Atlixco, this girl walked up to me covering her mouth with her hands shaking looking at me like I was a celebrity. TUrns out, ALEXIA from Instagram found me. She was SOO shocked and immediately demanded a picture and we talked a ton. She then told me recently she has been praying about serving a mission and seeing me today confirmed her answer to serve. WOW. Im SO excited for her and know that she will be an incredible missionary. Add her on instagram if you want to see my shoutout to you all. AND committed the Bautista family to read the Book of Mormon together as a family! YES

THURSDAY: Christmassss Eveeee. Had a district meeting which we witnessed a Christmas miracle. When we entered our room to start, A GIANT PERFECT MAHOGANY piano with a big red bow on it just awaited us. Noone knew where it came from, but everyone just turned to me and said ¨SANTA CAME FOR HERMANA CREER¨YES HE DID. IT was awesome. Had a gift exchange with the district and also organize a special trip as sister missionaries to Christmas carol at an elderly home. It was so sweet. Hermana Sanchez and I really connected with one woman who couldnt speak well just murmurs but she could DANCE and she could SMILE. and thats all that mattered to her. After finishing, we walked outside and caught the moon barely going over the mountain and it just gleamed. Looked a lot like a little piece of Bethlehem. Special moment. Then a young couple of recent converts invited us over for Christmas Eve dinner where we watched the Bible video of the NAtivity AND the Angels we have heard on High youtube music clash with David Archuleta and other Mormon celebrities. Very special and very peaceful Christmas Eve I probably will never forget.

FRIDAY: Christmas.NOONEEE was home. The streets were baren. We were lucky enough to have a set lesson with the Baxin Cruz family... and I ate shrimp for the very first time. Very big shrimp. Gave all their kids little presents to keep the Christmas spirit up. Then walked for an hour to our appointment for Christmas dinner...and they cancelled. So we just sat on the curb wondering what to do. And I´ll admit at this point I was discouraged. But God comforts us through others and sure enough, Anny, the sweet American I´ve only known for about a month or two saw me hunched over on the curb and came with open arms and said Merry Christmas, you can cry with me if you want. And i did just that (: IT was a good cry. I really felt love at that moment. It was a little Christmas away from home. REAL Christmas. Then got to Skype the family in Joni´s house (other American) and LOVEEE them. THey did a LOT to make sure I would be able to have that hour. ANd thanks to miracles, it happened. Ended the night visiting Monica and her family. She could tell it had been a rough day and just held me told me she loved me too. I SINCERELY LOVE THE PEOPLE HERE. Without them, I don´t think I could´ve really understood the true feelings of Christmas that matter. LOVE. PURE LOVE OF CHRIST.

SATURDAY: READ THE LIAHONA. Especially of the general conference talks. There are so many GOLDEN messages in there that have literally saved me. Great way to prepare for the new year. Rough day for a lot of others here. Selene, a recent convert in our ward, and her husband are getting divorced after having a reallyrough Christmas. Pray for them, please. AND had the feeling to go visit the Lopez-Trujillo family and sure enough WE NEEDED to see them. Theyre daughter has plans to get married the first of February BUT recently through her parents advice and her own personal feelings, she doesn´t feel right about it. After having a lot of girl talk and scriptural advice, she has agreed to receive a blessing to guide her in her decision. Her parents praised us for helping her listen and trust in God for this decision. Pray for her too (:

SUNDAY: NEW YEAR RESOLUTION: COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS. As a little kid, I had a huge long list of numbered blessings I wrote down, and this past Sacrament meeting during the Sacrament, I asked for guidance of how to be better and be happier this week and like a slap to the face felt the prompting ¨COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS, NOT YOUR CHALLENGES¨And woowwww already I have seen it help. And we found out today that little Erik of the Campos family HASNT ben baptized yet so after some crazy last minute plans, HE WILL BE BAPTIZED SATURDAY. Super stoked for that. Funnny moment: saw some guys playing soccer in the street and they kicked it over in which I naturally shot a goal. For some odd reason they thought I was Alex Morgan after one shot BUT it started it a conversation and if you know anything about missionaries, we ALWAYS talk about the gospel. SO yes, we found 6 new investigators in that moment. THen ended the day a little creepily, the BAutista family told us in tears and fear that Luis their song has been possessed by a devil... and are asking for our help to perform an exorcism of some sort. I was about to say we don´t believe in exorcisms and possessions but Hermana Wong immediately responded with calling the bishop and we have a set appointment to evaluate together his behavior. Soooo this is normal here. So stay tuned to find out what happens with him this week.

My email title this week is because even though I was away from Christmas, I kept walking, kept continuing my adventure,and did it cheerfully. Just like the little bear from Brother Bear singing this little song throughout their journey and adventure. Gave me a spring in my step. Phil Collins never will leave you unhappy.

I LOVE YOU all so much. And because of your prayers and support, I truly can feel a change transforming me and I KNOW that its the Lord and the gospel. Something I love an Elder at the CCM told me is LET THE GOSPEL TRANSFORM YOU. And I encourage you all to let it do exactly that.
