FOR NO MERE MORTAL CAN RESIST THE SPIRIT OF PRAYER

soooo before I go into my adventure of this week CONGRATULATIONS TO SAM WHO IS GETTING BAPTIZED THIS SATURDAY. Sam, you are making one of the most amazing decisions. I wish more than anything I could be there. Praying for you and sending you all my love!

OKAY PONDERIZING SCRIPTURES FOR THIS WEEK: (forgot my sheet so I`ll have more next week) Mosiah 5:12,Mosiah 24:13-14, 2 Nefi 28:30, Mosiah 2:41

MONDAY: visited Alma Rosa to check on Brisa who is so much better. It was a freak thing but after a shot and overnighting at the hospital, she`s her beautiful self again. Gave us a cute little note and gave us the sweetest hug. Her mom cried from our sharing of the scripture Ether 12:27 (shoutout to chad cherrington and reese hansen for that)

TUESDAY: Were told to leave to Puebla at 8 AM to have a capacitacion with all the new missionaries with the President. At first I was the only new gringa so President Stellmon stopped talking in Spanish and just felt prompted to directly talk to me in English asking how much Spanish I understood my first day in the field and how much I understand now... immediately after answering, I realized how much has changed in my speaking and understanding. He then said with so much power that he knows I`ll understand everything in this meeting THEN I understood EVERYTHING. Don`t know how, but I did. Truly a miracle. Had pizza with all the new missionaries and went home completing the day with study.

WEDNESDAY: Soooo today we had district meeting and I shared the attribute of Christ on diligence and honestly it is becoming so easy to openly talk with everyone. Then after, we needed to prepare the baptismal font for a baptism... but turns out the water was left in the font from the last one being green and filled with bugs and spiders. LOL so our DL`s and us worked our butts off with trash cans emptying the font by hand with rolled up pants, crocs, and ALL. ANDDD then to top it all off, it started POURING rain with lightning and thunder. We were dirty, tired, hungry (because our lunch with members was cancelled) and even though most people would of thought it was such a miserable experience, we kept belting out church hymns louder and louder and smiling and singing the whole time. A super special experience I will always remember.

Then met with Anny (american) and GUESS WHAT? She wants to read the Book of Mormon and were going to go trick or treating slash contacting with them on Halloween! Then the Neri family demanded us to come eat with them because we hadn`t eaten all day and gave us sooooo much food and THEY BOUGHT ME CHOCOLATE SYRUP. and they just looked at all my pictures asking me questions about home and my life. Awesome way to end the day. oh and by the way, I am now having to respond to Hermana Elsa because Violeti got me Elsa stickers and a little bag. SHE IS SO CUTE. Agh .

THURSDAY: So at lunch, the members were freaking out because they thought I looked just like Julianne Hough. LOL no. And after that I wish I could say we had success BUT we walked everywhere and nobodyyyy could meet with us. but we got one lesson in for the day with and investigator at the very end of the day which was a blessing because she FINALLY started reading the Book of Mormon and just glows with truth now. It`s incredible.

FRIDAY: During our mission correlation meeting today, found out the leader can speak English. LOL. So I get to talk in English way more now to help explain things with the AMericans. Then had entrevistas (interviews) with the President which took all day practically. But guess what guys... turns out I`m going to be a trainer.... probably right after being trained.... LOLLLLL hah. Not for sure. But it`s basically what President inferred.... SO freak. Gotta really work hard now. Then felt inclined to meet with Hermana Suhel because she hadn`t been to church in almost two months. Took her son Bichito (SO CUTE) so that Hna. Salcedo could talk with her. Turns our her marriage is falling apart so we shared with her the proclamation to the world for the family... stay tuned for more miracles. GOt another new investigator at the end of the day too! Francisco Ramirez. He`s dope so praying things go well with him.

SATURDAY: HALLOWEEN or DIA DE MUERTOS. Had a great lesson with Carmen and Sol. Don`t really know how to explain how spiritual the lesson was because it was just one of those things you can`t put into words. But let`s just say I don`t know what I said in my testimony, but it brought them to tears and they committed to read all the Book of Mormon. Then had some of the best pork tacos I`ve ever had in my life. Had a lesson with the Baxin Cruz family and got to name their child... LOL NEVEAH Heaven spelled backwards. (: Then went for a little bit trick or treating with Anny and her family but kinda sad because they said they couldn`t come to church BUT next week for sure. Then LOL at the very end of the day a grim reaper guy chased us down the street and Hna. Salcedo screamed her head off. I don`t think I`ve laughed harder thus far in the field.

SUNDAY: So only one investigator came to church today. Darn. BUT GUESS WHAT. for the first time in foreverrrrr Hna. Suhel and alllll of her family came to church GLOWING. It was such a beautiful sight. Then our dinner cancelled on us again so we got to eat with Katia and our investigator`s family eggs and beans which honestly never tasted so good. Andddd they found my Youtube channel LOL so that was interesting being asked so many questions about my past. Then they demanded I do the cup song. Which has now become a hit in all our lessons to Mas Cerca Dios de Ti. Every member and investigator wants to hear it now. Hey it works to get them to meet with us. The Campos family LOVES it the most. Especially the kids. OH how much I love the kids here. And don`t get me started on how much they touch my hair, skin AND eyes. But I love it. I`ll attach a picture with Lupita, Erik, Aupotico, and Bichito. They love learning English from me too.

MONDAY: So today we got to play for four hours volleyball with our whole zone WHICH OH MY GOSH, playing volleyball never felt so good. Our team slayedddd as usual LOL. SOO much fun and we got pizza and everything. Then ran to the store really fast to buy food and GUESS WHAT. ran into anotherrrrr American woman or should rather say she RAN up to me and just hugged me. SHe is SO nice. She`s an inactive member of the church LOL what are the chances and has invited us over tomorrow to talk. Her husband isn`t a member but she`s been dying to find someone to befriend her family that`s English. OH HOW THE SPIRIT WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS.

I honestly love being a missionary. Going to close with what I feel being a missionary is in Spanish. I love you all so much. Love your letters. Sorry I couldn`t respond to everyone this week. Didn`t have much time. BUT LOVE YOU ALL:
