HOLA OTRA VEZ.

That's weird to say I only have 17 months to go. Two weeks left at the CCM and I leave September 28th. Agh. Weird. I don't want to leave. But then again I am so anxious to get out of here and serve the people of Puebla and get teaching.

THURSDAY: So P-day we did Ultimate Frizbee and slayed the other district. Again. Thennn TAQUITOS for dinner MY FAVORITE. And we taught Alejandro for the first time. Which went very well and we're prepping him for the Restoration. Then we watched the Hope in God's Light mormon message. PLEASEEEE watch this video if you havent. Its amazing. Just Youtube it. Then as a district we just threw a little football back and forth which ended up on the roof of our building causeeee Elder Smith and Elder Plowman like to goof off.

FRIDAY: We had a new leaders meeting. Turns out Hermana Morrell is also a sister training leader which is AWESOME. We also practiced teaching Elder Johnson as a fake investigator and I can now testify that through the power of sharing personal experiences, the Spirit can become so strong. From relating to investigators and really connecting with them, as a companionship, we were able to commit him to baptism in the first lesson. It was amazing. Then we taught Christian and HE ALSO has committed to baptism on October 29th. YESSS. God sincerely changes lives. Then DL's told me I got a package. THANKS MOM. Missionarypresent.com is life here. And the whole district went googoo eyes for the big one I got from mom. IT was a blessing. Then we played world cup as a district again. And once Argentina, is now Spain, and we finally caught up. Riggz is a G. We ended the day studying Alma 26. Which if any of you want to know a chapter to read when you don't know what to read... read THIS chapter. It is amazing.

SATURDAY: Hermano Martinez is getting fed up with us not completely speaking Spanish all the time, so now we have to do 5 lagarjitas (pushups) everytime we get caught speaking english. Then, fast sunday on the mission starts at Lunch on Saturday. And within two hours, we were dying. OH that was hard. We played mafia for a little bit in spanish to try and make things go by faster. Then played World Cup which wasn't smart because we sweat and were dying of thirst after AND my bruise on my foot has internally bled to the bottom of my foot. It looks like someone painted a big stripe across my foot in purple and red. It's kinda legit. By the end of the day we were exhausted. We all decided to fast for strength in the spirit and the language. In our attempts to not pass out in class we had little jam sessions and talked about movies. Roughest night so far in the mish.

SUNDAY: BLESSINGS ARE REAL. FASTING IS REAL. GOD IS REAL. So we had our first leader meeting as a zone which I love because I sincerely love our branch presidency. Presidente Henrie taught us about testifying and believing and teamwork which I LOVED. Then in Relief Society we broke down the Family: A Proclamation to the World which was amazing. THEN in Sacrament meeting we introduced a new zone and said goodbye to Hermana Davis' and Hermana Black's zone. And it was testimony meeting. I can easily testify that through fasting and the spirit, EVERYONE who bore their testimony had the spirit. I barely got to speak my testimony being the last one, but Holy cow, I felt the spirit so much in that meeting. (It was also awesome cause President Henrie told us the details on the BYU v. Nebraska game #BYUROC. So So So sick. Putting that game on my list of things to watch when I get back. Then at lunch, THEY MADE STEAK FOR US. Ugh it was a huge blessing and made me SO HAPPY. Then we heard an amazing devotional from RIchard G. Scott on prayer and then got to watch Meet the Mormons!!! AWESOME day.

MONDAY: Today Hermana Van Rompaey and I got to teach Book of Mormon class to the district and chose Alma 5 which is MY FAVORITE CHAPTER. It was an awesome discussion and I encourage all of you to read it if you have the time. Which everyone should have the time to read the scriptures. They're the best. Learned 91 words in TALL. Which was a struggle because the temptation to fall asleep in that class is VERY VERY strong. Then more studying and futbol and THEN we taught Alejandro again. He committed to be baptized... and my first BIG mistake in the language happened. I said "Estoy muy excitado por usted ser bautizado." Which in Mexico instead of meaning in Spain "Im excited for you to be baptized" meant "I'm sexually aroused for you to be baptized." The district had a good laugh but it's good I know now that THAT can not be said. Lol. Afterwards we watched an amazing video called La Expiación which has talks form Henry B Eyering and Jeffrey R. Holland talking about missionaries and the atonement. I want the words to that talk so bad so if anyone could find that and send it to me, that would be great.

TUESDAY: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM. Love you so much. Ok, in Christian's lesson we went over in more detail baptism WHICH he is so excited for. Then Hermano Martinez made us do choreography to Battle Hymn of the Republic to wake us up. Lunch. TALL where Elder PLowman got a letter explaining the details of the BYU game which was helpful. then volleyball, Mafia (which if you haven't figured out already is our FAVORITE game) PIZZA night. Then we performed as the CCM choir at devotional the EFY medley in Spanish which was the coolest sounding thing in the world. Our devotional was from Moroni Guanoa of the Seventy and it was basically a history lesson on lineage. Interesting but hard to stay awake during that. Ended the day singing hymns as a district.

WEDNESDAY: Hermana Trejo, our favorite teacher took over morning teaching today and we did a ton of roleplay involving Elder Plowman fake crying which sincerely made my day. Then Hermana Peibe's zone whos leaving on Monday wanted to play kickball so I went while Hermana Van Rompaey sat out trying to feel better from her migraine. IT WAS SO FUN. Elder Butler (who looks identical to Reese Hansen) was on my team and we layed 16-8. So fun. As sister training leader, I'm gonna try to get our zone to do the same before we leave. Made a lot of new friends in that zone that I'm sad are now leaving. THIS SUCKS saying goodbye to so many good people. Then our service project was awesome bringing in the new B's including Elder Bryce Jordan. He's awesome. AND i got to play piano for a while which felt great. ANDDDD we got two new hermanas in our zone. One's a collegiate beach volleyball player so I'm stoked to finally play some good volleyball (: Then TRC we had the wonderful opportunity to hear the conversion story of this sweet 70 year old women whos been a member for 10 years. I couldn't understand everything because she spoke so fast, but I understood enough to feel her spirit. And boy, did she have an amazing spirit. Then, afterwards Hermana Guerrero taught us commands in Spanish and WANTED to play Mafia completely in SPanish outside. IT WAS SO FUN. I may or may not have publicly stated that Elder Sheppert was dumb by saying "Usted es tonto!!!" and right when I said it, a ton of Latinos walked by and said "OHHHHHH" which was the funniest moment of the day. Close to when we returned to our class after the game, a moth the size of a waterbottle was in our room and our teacher threw a book at it in which it responded by flying in our class. I screamed bloody murder and Elder Smith of course ended up killing it. It was fantastic.

THURSDAY: well we got to leave the CCM today to do immigration visa work which took forever and we're exhausted. but we got to see so much of the city WHICH WAS AWESOME. I really hope I can come back here and see more. It's incredibly beautiful.

Well, another week goes by in the mission. I truly do love it here. I think I'll close this email with my testimony in Spanish. Cause I think that's basically a requirement that I haven't done. So here goes. Feel free to use google translate.

I am very grateful for the opportunity to be a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints. I love it here very very very very much. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. and Joseph Smith was a prophet. Through faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism, and enduring to the end, we can return to God. He loves us. I feel His love every day here at the CCM. And when YOU recieve these things, I would exhort you to ask God the Eternal Father in the name of Christ, if these things are not true, and if you have a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost, you can know the truth of all things. I know these things are true. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
